iotSYMPHONY Media Release final
“We are incredibly pleased that iotSymphony, an innovator in internet of things connectivity, has decided to join our partner ecosystem. Its software solution has broad applicability across our disaster management and healthcare management focus areas.” – Todd Spain, Executive Director
More than half of all internet of things (IoT) projects fail. The majority of IoT programs often cannot connect key components or integrate actions into real-world applications. Enter: iotSymphony.
The Salt Lake City, Utah-based company has created a software platform that enables organizations to successfully deploy IoT programs and efficiently manage and monitor them while in production. Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), Decision Science, and automation, iotSymphony’s platform connects an entire IoT ecosystem and supports the 360-degree project life cycle through a single cloud-based platform, using existing infrastructure.
An experienced triad of industry veterans, Jon Oslowski (CEO), Todd Clark (CRO) and Michael Pawlak (COO) co-founded the company.
Oslowski’s experience includes more than thirteen years of financial leadership positions in the San Francisco Bay area. His most recent stint was as CFO of H2O.ai Inc. in the Bay Area, an enterprise software company specializing in software for fast, scalable machine learning for smarter applications. In just four years there, he helped H2O.ai raise $112 million in Series C and Series D financing.
Clark also came from H2O.ai. Deeply steeped in Artificial Intelligence for the telecommunications industry. He has also served as a sales leader for SAS, Oracle, Teradata, and Verizon. Todd began his career as a network engineer at Verizon, where he was a key contributor in the deployment of hyper-scale network for the global internet backbone.
Pawlak, another telco expert, has over twenty-five years of experience in customer engagement management, network operations management, and product management. An industry thought leader specializing in digital transformation of operational processes, he was the designer of a contact center software platform that leveraged data and advanced analytics to improve call center operations.
These leaders know firsthand the challenges of deploying complex solutions across an enterprise. They created the company to partner with businesses and agencies to simplify and automate the management of IoT data from edge devices through analytics and decision science to automated actions into the necessary operational systems. This is where critical needs will be met in both disaster and healthcare management.
For Oslowski, partnering with AMC was a natural fit, given the company’s outreach strategy.“Our vision for a more efficient, safer and healthier world aligns perfectly with AMC and their objectives to mitigate the impact and devastation from wildland fires and improve the health of global communities,” he said. “We believe we can be a valuable partner in these efforts by delivering IoT technologies with high impact for sustainable mobile solutions.”
The Collective aims to create repeatable, sustainable and impactful solutions in healthcare delivery and disaster management and recovery, including wildland fires. It connects experts, systems and processes to provide optimal solutions for public and private partners across the country.
“Whether in a disaster response event or during normal health care operations, connectivity is key. iotSymphony brings an integrative solution to the table that can be leveraged for these use cases and more. We are excited to work with them to advance viable and sustainable mobility solutions for global good.” – Todd Spain, Executive Director
